A proposal to ban the sale of 134a refrigerant may become law soon. If enacted, you will no longer be permitted to purchase cans of auto refrigerant, and will be forced to pay a repair shop or auto dealership up to $150 or more for something you can do yourself - at a fraction of the cost.
